Isle was created by our in-house design team to help fulfill the need for a softer more domestic feel to modern-day commercial furniture design. Crafted from a single natural material its clean lines, soft edges, and unique detailing, the Isle table elegantly combines luxury and simplicity.
Our research continually identifies the workplace is evolving into spaces where people come together more frequently – collaborating and sharing ideas, whilst moving away from independent or isolated work, and with the ever-growing popularity of homely aesthetics in the office, we’ve designed a suite of tables that showcase the best of residential style that could be incorporated within the workplace.
As a statement table system, Isle has an honest, playful character with a true expression for simplicity. By only using ash, the single natural material is visible throughout Isle’s silhouette which brings a softness to the surrounding space, meaning it’s suited as a statement piece or as a canvas to build the space and aesthetic of a room around.
The solid ash provides a hardwearing structure that can easily withstand the demands of busy office environments, whilst its texture helps create a calm and tranquil atmosphere. Its hexagonal and rounded ends promote inclusivity and social interaction whilst the concealed cable management and hidden power ports make it functional for everyday use.
Ranging from 1.2 to 4.2 meters, Isle has been designed to be used in a variety of commercial environments, and due to the variety of the sizes and its sturdy base, we envisage the larger options being used in boardrooms, open plan offices, higher education settings, or hotel lobbies to welcome guests. The smaller 1.2-meter option is ideal for quick, informal meetings or to visually complement the larger sizes.
