Whilst we have all discussed ( ad nauseam) the clear benefits of flexible working, hybrid working and WFH there have been a number of virtual meetings that I have attended where the Wi-Fi or tech did indeed take a break.

Like most ‘new’ ideas there are occasions where myself and probably most of the other people in the meeting have wondered – why are we not meeting in person?

Unless it is clearly a waste of everyone’s time including myself I always prefer to meet face to face – might be old school but an investment in a 1 hour (or less) face to face meeting seems to result in much fewer mistakes and misinterpretation.
