What is FF&E?
You may well keep hearing the term FF&E and be wondering exactly what it is.
It is defined by Investopedia as:
Furniture, fixtures, and equipment (abbreviated as FF&E or FFE) refers to movable furniture, fixtures, or other equipment that have no permanent connection to the structure of a building. These items, which include desks, chairs, computers, electronic equipment, tables, bookcases, and partitions, typically depreciate substantially over their long-term use but are nevertheless important costs to consider when valuing a company
This has become increasingly important and a term referred to by End users and Architects & Designers who require Office spaces ‘dressed’ to bring them to life with plants, objects, vases. wall hung art and even down to glasses, cutlery and crockery.
TSI Workspace has conducted many of these projects and an example can be seen here
It really is a skill in itself for Architects and Designers to put together and for TSI Workspace to procure, collate, deliver, unwrap and place but the spaces that are ‘dressed’ do look fantastic and as well as enhancing spaces have also enabled Landlords in particular to let spaces.
Feel free to contact me at tim.scott@tsiworkspace.co.uk if you would like to discuss this or anything else Workplace related.
